Algae Farm ® disruptive intellectual property and technology includes systems and processes that continuously produce high yield, reliable, predictable, scalable and sustainable algae biomass in an indoor climate-controlled environment. Biogae™ is a proprietary cylindrical, modular and scalable (photo-bioreactor) device for growing and harvesting any specific strain of algae biomass in an indoor climate controlled environment.
The biomass has “algae oil" intact. The proprietary name of our algae oil is A lgOil ™ . This oil contains chemicals such as Nanoporous silica and others that, when extracted from the biomass, can be used as a contributory part of high-value algae derived products such as microalgae fuel cells ('MFC") for solar and electronic vehicle batteries.
The basic idea is the conversion of light energy into electrical energy using photosynthetic microorganisms from algae. This area of microbial fuel cell research is called Biophotovoltaics.
