Every fourth Saturday of the month! ​Dogs really are the best listeners. Children of all ages can practice reading aloud to friendly, trained therapy dogs. The dogs create a fun atmosphere to help children learn, calm children who are struggling, excite those who are bored and help kids equate reading with fun. Join us! Two quiet study rooms are available on the mezzanine level, located above Teen Central. The rooms are open on a first-come, first-served basis. The larger room seats up to six people and is appropriate for small group study, meetings, and conferences. The smaller room seats up to four people and is suited for tutoring, quiet study, and silent work. The spaces are open on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register at the Reference Desk to use either of these spaces.
