Born in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents who were politically and socially active. Craig credits his upbringing, family history and his keen involvement in organizations like the NAACP and the Tuskegee airman for his interest in African American Life and history. Craig is currently raising three children and looking forward to writing more books and raising his future grandchildren.
