I maintain Allied Health Professional privileges at UnityPoint Meriter Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital Madison. My current research and recent publication interests include the economics of health care and health care reform, particularly as these relate to access to behavioral health care, including mental health care in Medicare. On May 7, 2024, Dr. Herz was reappointed to the Medical Staff at St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison, with Status of Allied Health Professional, Specialty in Clinical Psychology, for a period of three years.
