ELA students with the assistance of their teacher Connie Jensen spent time in the elementary spreading some holiday cheer. Juniors and 8th graders went to both Preschool and Kindergarten to help them write letters to Santa. Juniors also went to 1st grade to have holiday stories read to them by our newest readers!
Essex Seniors were presented with the Carrie Chapman Catt Award for having 100% voter registration. The award was presented by Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate and students also met State Senator Tom Shipley and County Auditor Cindy Vanfosson. Great job Trojans and Trojanettes!
Essex Community Schools is excited to share that we have received the Farm to Table grant for yet another year.Through partnerships and collaborative efforts, the program facilitates relationships between schools, food hubs and farmers.
