A Welcome, written by Jack Whirry This farming way-of-life has been part of the Whirry Family for decades, more accurately a century and more. My great grandparents John and Mary Morgan Whirry, farmers from England, immigrated to the US in 1848, settling in the Freisland area, where they operated a small dairy farm. In 1917 their son William and his wife Alma Cheney Whirry settled on a farm just a half-mile south of Evergreen Ranch. My parents Jim and Irma Frank Whirry, farmed those 280 acres most of their
Tree Farm planting. May of 2014
