Thankful to pull in the gate at Lake Texoma RV Campground (TT) in Gordonville, Texas! We saw Longhorns on the road to the campground, reminding us we crossed the border. Normally at Thousand Trails campgrounds we drive around and select the “perfect” site available. This time we saw some ahead of us and just pulled into Site F086 eager to be done.
We woke up in Texas! After coffee, we took a walk that felt good after travel days and after two miles, we discovered how big Lake Texoma is! The 12th-largest Army Corps of Engineers’ lake, according to Wikipedia. Two miles back, we walked in the door to the washer beeping, crying for H2O. We found out there was a main water break outside the campground. Thank goodness for our water tank to help the washer finish its job. We enjoyed eggs and grits since our tasks were on hold. Water came back on around 1700
