Dedicated in 2009, this memorial originated as the "dream" of Morris Cash, who spent over 20 years in planning and raising awareness of the need for a memorial of this kind in Garland County. Working with countless other locals and veterans, Morris was instrumental in not only locking in the property for the memorial with the city of Hot Springs but he was also involved in the fundraising efforts required to make this memorial a reality.
