Description: In 1957 GIS AG was founded by the brothers Alex and Beda Iseli. Electric chain hoists and complete crane systems have been manufactured and developed in Schötz since 1963. In 1966, the subsidiary GIS GmbH was founded in Germany, followed by the purchase of the UK distributor LTM in 2018. In 2022 GIS Corporation in the U.S. was established.
