I grew up in Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. I spent part of my childhood in Annandale Virginia , part in Arlington Virginia, part in Mount Vernon Virginia, and part in LaPlata Maryland where I was introduced to computer software development through the Olympics of the Mind . I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at George Mason University . After living most of my life in Falls Church Virginia, I moved to Seattle to work on Amazon Web Services' Global Accelerator product.
