in care of Black women was founded in 2019 as a creative placekeeping intiative anchored on the southside of Chicago cooperatively activating space and building cartographies of care. We bring together writers, curators, farmers, mamas, dancers, organizers, teachers, cultural producers, youth, and visual artists to build sites of care.
