For over a decade, I have poured my heart into encouraging, supporting, and uplifting local musicians in the tri-state area. The Kindred Awards have been my labor of love, a ministry I believe God has called me to. Every year, I’ve spent countless hours downloading, editing, messaging, writing, and organizing to ensure this event could happen.
Yet, as I reflect on this 10-year milestone, I must be honest with you: I am tired, overwhelmed, and feeling frustrated. This past year has brought more panic attacks, meltdowns, and technical challenges than I have ever faced. Despite the incredible joy this ministry brings, it has also come at a significant cost to my mental, physical, and spiritual health.
