The Dallas Kosher Chili Cookoff ( http://kosherchilicookoff.us/ ) is recognized as the premier event in North Texas for bringing the Jewish community together in one place for a day of fun, food, camaraderie, and excellent kosher chili. Started in 1994, the Dallas Kosher Chili Cookoff is the oldest and largest Kosher Chili Cookoff event in the world. This year will be the 30th (sadly, we had to skip 2 years for COVID) and is held annually on the Tiferet Israel campus at 10909 Hillcrest Road near Royal Lane.
The cook–off brings together in one place the diverse Jewish communities of Dallas and all of North Texas. People gather for a day of fun, food, fellowship and excellent kosher chili. The Dallas Kosher Chili Cook–off is the oldest and largest kosher chili cook–off event in the world.
