Writing Journal Publications Media Dr. Mazer is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist. He is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University.
His professional interests include gastrointestinal pathology, general surgical pathology, evidence-based medicine, and health policy.
He performed his post-graduate medical training at Yale, where he completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology, as well as a fellowship in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. He also completed a surgical pathology fellowship at Johns Hopkins. He graduated with an MD and MBA from the University of Rochester. He received a BA in Biology and Linguistics from Swarthmore College.
