MENU Featured Slideshow Maryland Adult Medicaid Dental Coverage Expansion Starting January 1, 2023, adults enrolled in the Maryland Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid) will have coverage for comprehensive dental services through the Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Program.
This program provides a $2,000 academic award for individuals seeking to study and work as a dental professional.
Starting July 1, 2023, noncitizen pregnant women who would qualify for Medicaid but for their immigration status and their children up to the age of 1 year will have access to comprehensive medical care and other health care services.
