Anthony Meindl is an award-winning writer-director. He has guest lectured at David Lynch’s Masters in Film Program for Directing, the Moscow Art Theater, and the Actor’s Centre London, among others. His most recent film “Where We Go From Here” won a Best Screenplay and Jury Award and was acquired by HULU.
His screenplay for the upcoming The Wonder Girls was the Grand Prize-Winning “Feature Screenplay” in the Slamdance Film Festival Screenplay Competition. It was a semifinalist at the Vail Film Festival Screenplay Competition and was listed in the top 10% of all screenplays entered in the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship.
Earth’s unstable climate may be rampaging around us, but we humans are quite good at carrying on as if nothing outside our immediate bubble matters. In six international stories, MEMENTO MORI captures the moment when that bubble bursts and we are faced with the fact that our actions have manifold consequences for ourselves, our loved ones, and the world.
