As the organization has grown, we have expanded our efforts to include the rescue of all unaccompanied children as well as women at risk of human trafficking. We also have begun assisting underserved populations in other countries, although our primary focus remains on North Korea oprhas. We have also recognized that importance of raising awareness with government institutions, international bodies, and the general public, which led to the latest expansion of our mission in raising awareness.
While we are a small organization, the difference we make in the lives of individual refugees is significant. To that end, we strive to keep all of our expenses as low as possible and dedicate less than 10% of our annual budget to administrative and fundraising expenses.
