Description: Healing Holistically for Over Four Generations.
The Lungs are paired with the Large Intestine, open to the skin, and governs breathing. With every inhale and exhale, the Lungs interact directly with the environment around us, which is why the Lungs establish the basis of our immune system. Seasonal colds, difficulty breathing, excessive sweating, and general fatigue can all be treated through the Lung channel.
The Spleen is paired with the Stomach, opens to the lips, governs the muscles and limbs, and rules over the transportation and transformation of food into nutrients. The Spleen is also most affected by over-thinking and pondering. Cases of inability to gain weight, muscle weakness, diarrhea, indigestion, or edema may be related to a weak Stomach and Spleen.
The Liver is paired with the Gallbladder, stores the Blood, opens into the eyes, and governs the smooth flow of Qi throughout the body, physically and emotionally. Stagnation in the Liver may express itself as anger, depression, muscle tightness or cramps, pain in the genitals and breasts, blurry vision, jaundice, and even nausea.
