Mia Weiner, Pinacoteca's proprietor, has a superb track record of knowledge, connoisseurship and integrity, after having been a NY private dealer specializing in Old Master Drawings since 1979. Ms. Weiner hopes to inform and inspire a new clientele by exhibiting European Paintings and Drawings from the 16th through 20th Centuries.
In 2015, Mia Weiner opened Pinacoteca in Bantam (Litchfield), CT. After two years there and a two year hiatus, Pinacoteca is reopened in Norfolk, CT, by appointment. Ms. Weiner will offer a selection of 19th and early 20th century European paintings and drawings with the same emphasis on works by Italian artists and northern European painters working in Italy.
