Description: The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force supports the Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy’s strategy of reducing drug use in Kentucky, to measurably reduce and disrupt the importation, distribution, and clandestine manufacturing of methamphetamine and other illegal drugs, reducing the impact of illegal drugs and related violent criminal activity.
The Pennyrile Narcotic Task Force covers 11 counties in Western Kentucky. The counties have a combined population of approximately 245,000 residents in a predominantly rural county environment.
