Sangeetham or Music is considered to be a part of ' Sama Veda' . Sangeetham is considered as the union of Geetham(Vocal), Vadyam(Musical Instrument) and Nruthyam (Dance). Over a period of time, humans have mastered music by both Geetham(Vocal) and Vadyam(Musical Instrument) as the source. Nruthyam (Dance) was also included to be part of Sangeetham as per Ancient Opus. The two major styles of Indian music are Carnatic music and Hindusthani music. Basically both are almost alike exept for small changes in the style of rendering.
