A North American Chapter of the Dingy Cruising Association
In 1775 the United States Marine Corps was founded in Tun Tavern, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of augmenting the Revolutionary Navy. In similar fashion, in 1986 the Shallow Water Sailors group was founded in the Carpenter Street Saloon, St. Michaels, Maryland, but for much friendlier purposes.
