The SECTION/SUMS report does not appear to recalculate when a value is changed. Because of the size of the file, calculation is done only when the file is initially opened. If a spreadsheet value is manually changed, hit F9 to recalculate. If an EXCEL file copy is saved, automatic recalculation can be restored by TOOLS | OPTIONS | CALCULATION | [select automatic calculation].
The report takes a long time to regenerate and appears to be recalculating frequently. You have other Excel files open and you have opened them prior to viewing the EMS reports. Either (1) close all open Excel files (including EMS reports) and start again with the EMS reports opened firstÍž or (2) use TOOLS | OPTIONS | CALCULATIONS on the EMS report to reset calculation to MANUAL.
No FTES projections appear for some courses EMS projects FTES based upon the estimated enrollment values and the apportionment accounting method in the SECTIONS report. If these columns have blank or zero values, no projections can be made for the section. Use the EMS Estimate Enrollment functions to change estimated enrollment values. Use PeopleSoft to set the apportionment accounting method. Note: The EST flag in the SECTIONS report advises users of any problems with these fields.
