On the occasion of the 2025 Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Year of the Snake), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs cordially invites overseas Vietnamese currently living, working, and studying abroad to register for the Homeland Spring 2025 program with the theme "Vietnam – Rising in a New Era" , taking place from January 18-21, 2025 , in Hanoi, Vietnam . The program is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, in collaboration with relevant agencies.
Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung paid a working visit to the US from December 2-5. At meetings with US partners, Trung and his US partners appreciated the positive results of the Vietnam-US relations in recent years, especially following the upgrade of their partnership to a Comprehensive strategic partnership.
