The unforeseeable events of 2020 have left many of us in a difficult place. From massive COVID-19 deaths and the economic crisis that came as a result, to the racial injustice that continues to plague our country; through it all, Black, Latino and Asian people have suffered most. As we watched and felt the effects of the pandemic in these underrepresented areas, we realized that it’s going to take a village to save our communities; we can’t do it individually.
On April 23, 2020, a group of leaders across the advertising industry decided to take the COVID-19, economic disparities, and racial injustice “trisis” head-on. Through a shared passion and commitment, we came together to exchange ideas and brainstorm ways to create real change.
