Meet Dr. Ronald Joseph Lin the american dream Dr. Ronald Joseph Lin was born on December 21, 1981 in Hoboken, NJ. His parents immigrated from Taiwan in 1980 in search of the American Dream. His father was a master's student at Stevens Institute of Technology and his mother was a homemaker. In 1987, his mother gave birth to Ronald's younger brother, George.
